Changing language

Hey there,

while I appreciate the localization, I would prefer to play in English rather than my native language. However, I could not find an option to switrch language in-game - is that correct, and if so, is there a config line I could edit?

To run the game in English, open up the game's properties. From the "General" tab click "SET LAUNCH OPTIONS" and add this text:

-culture=en

you mean we have to change language manually if we want?
I thought there is a option in game but it does not.

Correct, that option is not available in-game so you have to do it as a launch option.

To launch in the language of your choice, these are the language codes; insert the two-letter designator after "culture="

en: English
de: German
es: Spanish
fr: French
it: Italian
ja: Japanese
ko: Korean
ru: Russian
zh-hans: Simplified Chinese

Please, use the steam feature to change language or implement something else. German language is totally broken.

is there subtitles option for campaign in this game? if not , will you be adding it in future updates?

There are no subtitles currently. It's on our list of requested features but I can't say when we will be able to put them in.

Brookhaven should start with the default steam/system language.

This was the first steam game i ever had to change the language manually and had to google how to...

We will investigate why the game is not using the default Steam language.

We looked into it, and Unreal Engine 4 should be using whatever language you have set in Windows. If it is not, please let us know what your region and language settings are so we can investigate further.
