Monsters leveling up?
So I just defeated Nash, then I have to go to the Cave of Life, when the party agreed to grind for EXP and gold before going. OK, cool.
Starcats and Alphas are suddenly stronger. so I went back to Blood Forest to grind there instead....

Well, there are two types of these enemies. You've got mooncats and fox wolves, which are low level. Then when you have a party of 4, enemies become starcats and alpha fox wolves. These are the only enemies in the game that "level up" like this, however.

FYI the quest vermin does says you need to kill the low level stuff i think. The high level stuff does work but the quest text implies you would not be able to finish it.
