Help, I'm Stuck. (spoilers)

After escaping from the dungeon and entering the next area, I got the prophesy and the paintings but the top door on the left is protected by magic. I tried the 1st, 3rd, and fifth paintings and other than the prophesy, I can't figure out what to do...

So am I close to the end? I was reading the walkthrough and I'm already doing chapter 4...

Is that the last chapter?

I'm only lvl 33, IIRC you need to be lvl 60+ for the ending?

I couldn't beat the evil spirit yet...What level do I need to fight it?

Just finished the game at level 45, I believe the final chapter was 5.
IIRC you can kind of cheat the evil spirit by using Taunt/Reflect, but I couldn't tell you what level I was.

thanks, I'm currently at some sort of wind dragon boss to get to see some magic creature about the stones.

I defeated the giant chickens but I got destroyed by the dragon.

I've done some grinding and they're level 45. I have level 3 items for all characters and a couple level 4 skills per character.

I defeated the wind dragon. Even with lvl 46 characters and using the one protection spell from Doren that thing wiped 2 characters every super. It took a bunch of the 2nd level resurrect items to beat it...

Now I have to go and face the bad guy after the 3 characters were killed...

I guess I'm on the final battle but I won't get to do it for a couple days because of real world issues. My characters are lvl 48. Wish me luck. Only the girl's "boyfriend" wannabe isn't equipped completely with lvl 4 gear. He's missing 2.

i beat the game on expert mode at level 43, you just need to make sure all of your characters have around 120 defense on expert mode and you shouldnt get 1 shot by anything.
