When plugged straight to my pc and the switch is on the PS4 side, the wheel is recognised by the drivers as FFB but there is no input. On PS3/PC, the usb sequence installs drivers and when successful, it switches up the FFB to T150.
Through steam link and virtualhere the USB plugin driver install fails. Do you have any clue as to what could cause this? Admin rights?
My workaround is to halfpush the brake pedal, then the issue goes away and I can use bigpicture mode.
IMHO the issue is related to the pedal configuration: you can choose from "mixed mode" or "separated mode"; in "separated mode" (which is the default and also the good choice for most games), the brake pedal is shown as "Y axis" with these values:
- not pushed → -255
- full pushed → 255
- half pushed → 0
So the "-255" value for the Y axis is interpreted by bigpicture as "scroll down", also this is why halfpushing it (and keeping it halfpushed), solve the problem temporarily.
This is the same problem with my Thrustmaster 458 Italia. I don´t find a workaround :(
Does someone know a solution to this?
Thank you
My guess is that these issues have been solved since 2016 through patching, or people don't know how to make use of this app. Check out my review of the app here on Steam.
