VirtualHere for Steam Link

How do I get Xbox One controller headset audio working in games (it's working everywhere else)
I just bought VirtualHere and it's great except that one of the biggest reasons I bought it was to get audio to go through my headset which is plugged into my xbox one controller.

I hear the audio properly when I start streaming. I'm using the xbox one wireless adapter FYI. I can hear it throughout the steam big picture interface and in Windows in general.

But as soon as I start up a game, it plays the audio over the TV sound system and not my headset. I tried disabling all other playback devices in windows. No help there. I tried it on two games (call of duty black ops 3, dragon ball xenoverse) and neither worked. Is steam somehow overriding this when a game starts streaming.

Anyone know a solution? Is anyone else even having this problem?

I'm kinda bummed because this was one of the main reasons I wanted virtualhere. That and dolphin bar + wiimote + dolphin.

My suggestion is get out of big picture mode and just stream the windows desktop. I did this and the microphone and earphones work fine plugged into the xbox controller connected via virtualhere and the xbox wireless dongle plugged into the steamlink. Just run your games outside BPM
