We hope you've been having fun with Hank slashing and dashing around Kakamucho.

Since the launch of Samurai Academy: Paws of Fury last month, we noticed that the Shogun's invading cat army wasn't the only problem that needed to be squashed. Today, we've released a small patch to clean up a couple issues that were impacting players.

This patch includes the following fixes:

• Some houses in the first raid on Pippishore Village had missing collision that let players pull off unintended ninja shortcuts. These structures now stand firm.

• A quest objective was refusing to update after completing a raid. It now behaves as expected.

The village of Kakamucho needs a hero, and today you finally get to step in. Samurai Academy is out now, and the adventure kicks off right away with Hank diving headfirst back into trouble. The Shogun’s cat armies are on the move, the villages are under attack, and a mysterious force is pulling the strings. It is time to grab your gear, round up your friends, and carve a new legend one swing at a time.

Samurai Academy brings you back into the world of Paws of Fury with a full story campaign that follows Hank and Jimbo as they uncover who is behind the Shogun’s sudden turn against his own people. You will master new samurai skills, find mystical abilities that open up fast movement and sneaky ambushes, and wield an arsenal of gadgets to take down wave after wave of enemy cats.

You will defend temples and villages across Kakamucho, Dookiehill, and Pippishore as Ninja ambushers, Viking warriors, and Jetpack elites try to overwhelm you. Creative traps, smart positioning, and a little mischief go a long way. Along the way, you will team up with familiar characters from Paws of Fury and unlock new allies, items, and playable characters as you push the story forward.

The world is bright, playful, and full of surprises. Explore the villages, take on sidequests from oddball locals, and build your fame with treasures and awards as you travel. And if you want to share the chaos with a friend, local split screen co op lets you play the full campaign together.
