True End will be Rui End?

Makes sense in so many ways imo (except that this would be too obvious). I won't add any content or additional speculation. Pretty sure you guys all have your own theories about this. Feel free to discuss ^.^

Nope. Rui is dead. She is in the ground. She will not get up out of the ground and do a dance. That would make her a zombie, and even in Japan zombies would be immediately re-killed. Then they would dissect her for science. Don't make Rui need to be killed again by having her become a zombie and immediately getting her head bashed in. What's dead stays dead.

lol shot down by the lord of darkness (I look forward to reading Elizabeth's route).... Well that means

1. There is no ultimate heroine (a VN without an ultimate heroine o.O; harem ends are NOT acceptable = =)
2. Ultimate heroine has not appeared (!!!)
3. One of the characters right now will be true end (doesn't seem likely tbh...)

So time to accept Rui actually died... damn...so much for the cliche childhood friend route that are a staple of most VN's :/. That means Yama becomes evil. yippee...fun... Like I said I enjoy these endings, but hate them at the same time :/ (probably because my favorite VN heroine ever died the most bittersweet way ever; fml)

So then here is my following hypothesis: at least another heroine will die in their route, marking a bittersweet end to the route. Actually I am sure this will happen. It happens in nearly ALL of my favorite VN's.

All fair possibilities. But yeah, Rui is, has been, and forever will be another skull for the skull throne and nothing more. Also, evil denotes immorality, which is conscious knowing going against moral bounds for the sake of doing so. Bit of a boring term to throw around, gives me the image of a cliche villain twiddling a long waxed mustache and going 'mwuhahaha' before being inevitably defeated by righteous hero #47 who does this, that, and the other thing to thwart them lamely with the power of friendship.

As to your next hypothesis, another fair possibility. No end-state like disappointing heart-rendering, rip your hair out in agony, 'where-did-it-all-go-wrong-and-what-did-I-mess-up' end state. I can say that it's pretty likely that this only happens if you do mess things up indescribably badly that something of the sort would happen, but as what happens when you only mess things up in the right ways? Ehhh... something'll happen, I'm sure.

Also, to maintain my throne as the Lord of Terror and Darkness and Adorable Kittens;

Did you know that Rui was actually an orphan, although she was never adopted? That's because she was killed just a moment after her parents. Guess she doesn't get to become Batman. :(

My guess is that true end will be Yama end. Not in the romantic sense (that would be weird), but in the sense that the true route follows his character above all else and how he chooses to deal with what happened. Unless they have Natsuki or Shigure be the love interest, I don't see one showing up out of nowhere and be the main one.

sigh.. i still cant believe that rui died ugh usually i would hate a story for such ending but its different here somehow... it makes so much sense that it happened. yet.. UGH they made it so good and like.. i actually understood yamas way of thinking and felt like living in him while reading. thing is i feel him although hes not even real! ugh...
