20,000-10,000 gold a win

Was it just me but when I started playing royal heroes Redoing 3 star maps only gave 25-50% reward like around 300-500 gold a win. Now in the last cursed mountain I seem to gain anywhere from 10,000-15,000-20,000 a win. I thought my game nerfed and have been afraid to restart and update since it has become much more enjoyable to buy the 5* with 90K and boost my heroes quicker, boost spells, craft, etc.
