This game will punish you if you try and be a jill of all trades, you have to focus on two stats as much as you can. In the second game I imagine you can improve a third or fouth skill. I wouldn't know though, since the save function isn't working for iOS. >:X
If it's impossible to access our save and modify our stats to have fun...no more games from that editor for me /:
Choice of Robots was fine but this one is unclear...you never know really if you can do an action or not.
looks like u can few the text files wich will show u what u get when u pick what options
im going to make a cheat option for my self should be easy..
or not cant save the edited text file..
all so seems u need to edit the json file not the text file.. and well thats not nice and neat like the text file long string of text and code.. oh god why
ok the files that are needed to be edited are startup txt and json files not that u can save them.. still have no clue where steam saves finished game
ok save files located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\UserID\439770\remote
cant seem to edit the files there with out it giving an error "cannot set property 'timestamp' of null" when trying to load the save in The Lost Heir 2
then edit to your hearts content - can use wordpad to edit - will only edit current game.
Actually, you can get three or four stats quite high in a single playthrough - high enough that getting through the trials of the game won't be a problem. It's also not all that dumb; it's only the first game in a trilogy; would you really expect to archieve total mastery that early? :p
Thank you so much.
Incidentally, there doesn't seem to be one for the sequel. I looked for it's number code (439750) but there's no folder for it.
I wasn't aware it was a trilogy...
Btw,i confirm Notepad++ is great XD
Well, it is. This is the first game, released around this time the last year. The second game was released recently as you might know too. And the third game will probably be out somewhere around this time the next year...
Can't find the file you mentioned even after installing Lost Heir, also which files should I be editing?
1. Go into your steam/userdata/*everyone's number is different here*/439770 The last number is the file you want. Once you open that, you'll see a folder named "remote"
2. Delete everything in the "remote" folder BUT DO NOT DELETE THE FOLDER ITSELF!!!
3. Start a new game in the the FIRST game of the series "The Lost Heir: The Fall of Daria"
4. Close out of the game. Completely close it, so check with "control alt delete" and check your running proccesses to see if the game is running in the background. If it is, click "End process".
5. Install notepad++ (Here is a link) https://notepad-plus-plus.org/download/v7.5.html
6. Now that you have started a new game, check back in the "439770" folder and you will see 2 files: "StorePSlostheirPSstate" and "StorePSlostheirPSstatetemp".
7. Ignore the "StorePSlostheirPSstatetemp" file and right click on the other file ("StorePSlostheirPSstate").
8. Click "Open with" and search for notepad++ that you downloaded previously.
9. Within notepad++ it will bring up a single line of code. In this line of code you will see stats, such as archery, blades, strength, etc. The stats in the game. Left click on those files and type in whatever number you want WITH A MAXIMUM OF 99. If you type in 100 or over, sometimes the game will bug out and give the OPPOSITE effect and make the stat 0. 99 doesn't matter anyways as you'll get all stats to 100 really quickly by playing the game. You'll notice a "gold" value set to 0 as well. Change that to whatever number you want. I have played through all 3 games with the value set at 50000, and I have been able to purchase literally everything in the game with over 40000 left at the end. I don't know how the game will react to an extremely high value, so to play it safe, I would just keep it at 50000. DO NOT CHANGE CLASS LEVELS OR NUMBER OF ITEMS IN YOUR INVENTORY (Besides gold). This can possibly glitch out your game and cause A LOT of problems later on. So basically only edit stats and gold.
10. Click "Save" and then close notepad++.
11. Reopen the Fall of Daria (Since you've had it closed the entire time, right?)
12. Your game should be at the point where you can choose the rune covered sword, mighty spell, etc. Your "Dream" before awakening.
13. Check your stats and you should see all values at 99. Your gold value will NOT appear until you in the village (No spoilers here ;) )
14. At the end of the game, when you choose to save the file on choiceofgames.com, SAVE IT TO YOUR EMAIL!!! You will not be able to edit these files in later games. (Besides, why would you buy the other two without playing the first :/ )
15. When you load "Lost Heir 2: Forging a Kingdom" click on the load save from the first game and click on "Load a saved character from "Lost heir 1: The fall of Daria" you will then need to click "Retrieve saved games from choiceofgames.com"
16. Your save file from the first game SHOULD still be there, and you will begin the game with your stats and gold from the first game still intact.
17. Done. I wanted to be as detailed as humanly possible because no step by step instructions were very helpful to me. Here you go: Editing The Lost Heir series for dummies.
