- The game feels a lot easier (at least on Hyper)
- Honestly, I think the screen is way too cluttered, now. The old aesthetic was very simple and straightforward.
- I like the updated graphics and bomb timing.
as noted, the soundtrack can be changed in the options menu. the new gadgets can be turned off. hyper is intended to be somewhat easier than 1.12
Thank you for this info. I was going to switch back, but hearing that a lot of the UI can be changed, along with the music being able to be changed, helps a lot. Thank you.
Also, I like the third character (Val was best, but I don't care for her new shot type as much, but that's just me).
The midboss dies before HOUDINI finishes queuing. The base pattern bonus gets awarded when the midboss dies, but the pattern never ends, so the Perfect is never awarded and the pattern title sticks around until the next midboss overwrites it.
thanks for the report!
Wishing you and every other STG nut out there the best!
