Kritika:REBOOT

Some question about the classes
Google cant rly help me, every one is saying something else. I think about playing Assassin, catspaw or Shadowmage. Is PvP balanced? Will the one who play his class better win?

Whats about solo PVE content, can they clear it? i dont want to get to the point where i stuck cause my class is not doing enough dmg on its own.

reading a lot that assassins and shadowmage can stunlock and burst bosses, while cat is mobile and struggle at soloing bosses.

My personal goal is able to do decent in pvp and also farm in later on gear without struggle a lot.

Thanks for the help! :D

Can't really answer your first point, the game really isn't focused on PvP (Though this version we're getting tomorrow is going to have a butt-ton of content so that might change).

Every class can clear PvE it's just some classes have an easier time than other. (Cough Halo Mage, Catspaw, Doom Blade).

Haven't played Sin or Shadowmage, but Catspaw has a ton of burst with imprints and stuff.

There are guild wars, but even that is really PvE. First guild to complete the pve scenario wins the guild war. As far as I remember, before shutdown, the cat was actually better at killing bosses than assassin, and not many people played assassin due to being considered pretty crappy.

Quite a bit may change though, since we are going off KR version. Currently in KR, the #1 damage dealer is Halo mage, followed by Valkyrie, followed by Berserker... or so I've been told. -shrugs- I just play what I find fun. (My two most played before shutdown was Creator and Assassin.)

Well assassin after the imprints and awakenings was an abandoned character , even the Top assassin in the game AKA Jenny stop playing it and moved to psion.
Cat Paw become OP because one of the imprints and gear combinations, same as psion.
BD was always ok, but one of the imprints make it one of the most popular characters.
Zerker with one imprints and FM gear become really strong damage dealer.
Valk second awakening was also high Burst and dmg.
Halo we didn't have it on that versison same as Skydancer.
My characters where
DoomBlade, Psion, Shadow Mage, Wolf Guardian, Vamp, Valk, Elemental, Dark lord, Archer.
Thanks for the answers guys. helped me a lot :D

As someone who formerly put a LOT of hours into the Catspaw, let me say you best have some skill.
Pros:
Many fast cooldown skills are available to you early on, meaning combos are numerous
the Catspaw has fast frame data, able to rack up damage quickly if you can string combos together relentlessly

Cons:
She has very few wide range attacks, meaning you'll have to rely on hit and runs when facing large hoards or armored bosses. you'll also have to focus your hitboxes so they don't miss
Overall damage is lacking: Ms T!tty Kitty relies on relentlessly hammering foes for damage, meaning you must always be on top of your game
She can be somewhat of a glass cannon: Maybe this was me, but often I would get 1/3 of my HP sapped from a single attack whereas my other characters could take several hits
Despite having faster cooldown than most characters, considering the playstyle of the Catspaw, many of her attacks still have a tad too much cooldown

DISCLAIMER: All of what I said here, might be wrong. as I have no idea whether AllM is revamping the game entirely or just porting and adding new content. Who knows, maybe they've buffed old Catty, but what I said above is what you would have gotten from the old Kritika Online

Thanks for the detailed answer King Kachu. Catspaw sounds like a class which wont get bored since you always have to move and to care about to not die and also to hit your skills. Probably going for cat at the release.

unless you're used to this kinda thing, I wouldn't recommend her (or the vamp for that matter) for new players.
If you want more overall balance I'd recommend either the Warrior or Assassin if you prefer speedy. or if you wanna learn the basics and be OP early on, then the Prodigy is the way to go (she was my favorite class at higher levels)

Again, what Im telling you MAY be subject to change. Hopefully they don't change too much

Im kinda used to play classes which have a higher skillcap since its more fun for me. actually i care more about an easier clear at the beginning and the cat seems good for that. sure, maybe they changed something but we will see it then. Or i will play cat as a 2nd character to try it out after ive learned the basics of this game.

still quite hard to choose a class tho :P halo seems also fun.
