About the Graphic.
I want to ask players about the graphic of the game.

Do you have a smooth gameplay? no lag, tearing and stuff happen to fps?

When you build your tavern, does the game lagging when you reach more and more stuffs in game?

I am aware of this and basically the lag happens due to the HDD fetching information and often not fast enough for it. I try to cache as much as possible to prevent data transfers during game, but caching also increases memory footprint...which may result in other issues.

The Dev Build should be way better in this regard as many of the issues were improved these last few patches and heavy calculations spread over multiple frames. If you get the chance, kindly let me know if it "feels" better.

Locial, if you are experiencing lag (below 60FPS) then try to turn GI off in the options. The GI option is really there for strong graphics cards (I say 1060 and above). This is because it requires a lot of graphics power and together with it, quite a good chunk of VRAM to store lighting information. With GI off, even some old machines can handle Tavern Tycoon well enough.

If you are experiencing lag as the game progresses ie. more guests and rooms, that is quite normal as more calculations and rendering are done for obvious reasons.

If you are experiencing severe lag then try to lower some settings down in the graphics to help with it.

My recommendation is to have more than 4 cores (more cores are better) as the guests use the CPU (multi-threaded) to navigate and think for themselves. So if you want to have really many guests in your tavern (and by this I mean full of people everywhere) then number of cores help.

Hope this helps :D

Thank you Peter and Kiwicalifornia.

I really love your game Peter. And thank you for let me knows about details.

Seems like many building games, when players expand their build the game keep delay more and more. Feels a little bit off in long play after many build.

Your game is wonderful, happy to see you and players walk along the way to Finish. Wish you and your love ones best things in life.

Game Bar and Recorder Mode?

I am not familiar with this. Could you perhaps elaborate so that I can share with the community?

Thanks!

Thanks!

I have played Tavern Tycoon on my laptop before and now i play it on my family PC

Laptop Specs:
- Intel i7-7700
- Ram 16GB
- Quadro m1200 (this Vga similar to GTX 960m but not powerfull as 960 in gaming. YAY, double deadlines when you gaming on Workstation laptop)
- HDD Drive
WIN 10

PC Specs:
- Ryzan 5 - 2600
- Ram 16GB
- Gigabyte RX570 4gb
- HDD Drive
WIN 10

As always, the Raining Chicken told me i have 60-FPS on lowest and medium setting, but not what happening on Screen. The Screen keep teasing or lagging in a weird way.

I ask my friend about this, and he told me about the Game Bar and the Recorder Mode (WIN+G)

* press WIN -> type in Setting -> Gaming -> Game Bar / Captures -> Turn off every setting in this window.

Back to the game after this and BAM, 60 FPS.

I hope this works for all players so you wont consider about Fps for a while and have more focuses to make the game better.

Chaosgamer, 4:3 ratio support was removed about 6 months ago as nobody was really using it :D But I just added it back. It is not officially supported, but I've checked on my machine that 1280x1024 works just fine.

It was partly my fault assuming nobody is actually using 4:3 now :)

2.50 Euro sounds like a good deal though
