Stuck in Act 3

Hello, couldn't see any other threads that ask about this (if there are, sorry,) but I seem to have gotten stuck in the engine room of the boat. I assembled Zumar's fake-mouse toy and he is having a splendid time with it and all, but he has laid down directly in front of the staircase that leads out of the room - blocking the exit. And I of course haven't saved at all in the 2+ hours i spent getting here.

Is there any way to reload just to the beginning of the Act?

Just FYI - happened to me too.
I am ok though, luckily I saved just before.
Maybe if you ever revist this though stick a door in there or something?
