And wtf is Poi anyway LOL dem graphics....
But I don't have any friends.
People need to start understanding that this whole "it's for chairty" argument doesn't have quite the weight behind it that Humble wants you to think it has. The amount being given to charity is 5% - the lowest percentage in the bundle industry. That's only 60 cents donated if you pay the single month subscription. If you sub at the newer levels, even less goes to charity. Humble no longer releases figures, but even if you aim a bit higher than their average bundles sales at 75,000 sold, thats still only $3700. Or, to put it another, more personal way: Out of the $120.00 you'll spend in a year on the HM, only $7.20 will go to charity. For the entire year.
I'm sure that the charities appreciate everything they can get, but it certainly seems like Humble could do better. At least on their normal bundles I can choose the amount to donate, whereas I can't with the HM. Personally, I can't see sending someone a check for 60 cents each month; you're better off just donating if that's the reason you like HM.
As for bundle quality, that's completely subjective. I've been a subscriber since day one and, for my personal tastes in games, this is the worst bundle yet. There's one game here I don't mind having but would never have bought; the rest I could care less about, and two are automatic giveaways. For me, that 12 was a waste...but that's what HM is really all about: the gamble. You pays yer money and you takes yer chances. :)
By the way this is first bad bundle, i bet Humble will make up for it, but if everyone gona cry for it and hit unsuscribe if there will be really good bundle dont cry please.
Soma meaning there will be something much better for next month ... Its like there was no company which did a mistake or had bad chocie ...
Also i saw people have intrest on these games, and last month bundless people were also complaining when there was one of best games i could wish for ...
If you dislike this bundle there is chance you will like the next same as dislike it ...
Again: the percieved quality of each bundle is entirely subjective. I disagree that this was the first bad bundle. In fact, I think the last two were pretty weak. But then: I have no interest in multiplayer games, so to include games that are only multiplayer seems like a mistake to me.
People who play and enjoy multiplayer likely rated the July and August bundles higher than I did.
If I understand your meaning correctly (and I'm not sure I do), then I don't think this is true. I think the only decent game in the March bundle was Shantae and the Pirate's Curse. But if had unsubscribed, I would have missed the next two bundles, which were, in my opinion, absolutely fantastic.
People will always complain, because that's the nature of the beast that is the HM: It's shooting craps. You can't win everytime, and not everyone will be a winner every time. I will say this: I have over 1400 games, have been a subscriber since the first HM, and I have not yet received a single game I already owned. I've probably just jinxed that, though. :)
But, again, this is a game that holds absolutely zero interest for me. But because of the time-sensitive risk/reward cycle, I need to keep my subscription active, because if that next bundle has some games in it that I do like, I only have this chance to get it.
It's an absolutely brilliant design that plays into the addicitve nature of some personalities, myself included.
I so much agree with you on everything you said ... My whole point is if everyone start unsuscribing based on one bad bundle ... where will they take money to continue to do this? Or why people complain so much? I dont get it.
Ah, I understand what you're saying now. I don't think this is in danger of going away any time soon. But I think people do need to offer their thoughts, so that Humble knows what they're getting right and what they're doing wrong. For example, as I said before, I don't play multiplayer games. But, if the COD game we received this month would have had a single player campaign, that would have made this a worthy bundle in my opinion.
Also agree much with you, i think the Bundle was better before which is my opnion and this one is good but worst from all bundless i seen, thats being said, not bad but worst in the whole thing for me, i enjoy few of these games and i dont care for the rest, i just think it is plain at last unwise to cances by only one non-fiting bundle.
Like I hated the last one because of all the strategy games in it that I don't play. This one was a lot better, I really like Van Helsing, I gave the COD to my brother since I don't play multiplayer shooters and I will happily try Poi and Planet of the eyes as well.
I will admit that the early bundles seemed better than the ones we got recently. Like the one with Renowned Explorers, South Park and Nuclear throne was awesome or the one with Mad max. Those were great, the latest ones are on the verge of being worth the money for me. I will still keep the subscription though at least for now, I kinda wanna try SOMA.
im just calling out a scam, it's my right as a consumer
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hilarious. They put "Very Positive", "Mostly Positive" for the other games. They should put "Mostly Negative" for RAM. It's trash. Shame.
They didn't know. They put it into the bundle before the game even came out so it didn't have any reviews. This is the second time they did this, last time was with WASTED which turned out pretty great. This one didn't but they can't have known.
My guess is the developer actually contacted them and wanted to put the game into the bundle himself so he would get at least some money for it since it's apparently terrible and nobody would buy it otherwise. ♥♥♥♥ happens...You just need to accept some level of risk when buying things blind. I hope the bundles improve in the future though
