game is still broken for alot of people but hey just keep adding content instea dof fixing this game.
all match leavers please fix
Господь,это прекрасно.
Don't fix leavers. Make it so that people can choose between jason and counselor. Dead by daylight uses the same system. Works perfectly. No leavers. No ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. People can play the role they want. They can play the game they paid for.
OMG KEEP LEAVING WHEN I KILL THEM ESPECIALLY THE HOST FIX THIS!
for us? or to try and avoid the evil within release on friday? ya im salty still
@QuicKFisH And they got the game they paid for. It was never the intention of the developers to choose the roles. And that was known right from the start. And this system is, in my opinion, better than that of DbD.
I'm happy you guys are sticking with the game and really adding some new content to it.
Going off what the previous commentor said about 'choosing roles,' I agree with, because in just about every situation, more than one person is going to want to be the killer, and when they don't get it, they can either suck it up, or leave. Having the player choose their own role doesn't mitigate the issue of 'leavers' whatsoever, if they don't get to choose the character they want, they can just leave, which causes problems with matchmaking. With F13, you have to wait and see who you get, leaving an element of surprise which somewhat promotes staying in the game. And plus, even if you don't get the to be the killer, you've already sat through the lobby including the load times. And yet again, if you DO want to desparately control who you are, just host a private game with your friends, where you get to decide exactly who is Jason.

(I'm gonna continue this post above)

Don't be salty because you like another game more or this one isn't all you hoped it would be. Be glad they haven't abandoned the game like every other indie developer. This game is a shining ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ example of what start-up dev's should be like. The only developer that surpasses Gun Media/IllFonic is FacePunch Studios. Excuse my tangent here, but they've been releasing patches every week for around three years. It seems a little excessive, but the majority of the patches are bug fixes, whereas games like DayZ (Standalone) have a patch every, uh, 5-6 months? If that?? Friday the 13th is such a great happy medium between the two, releasing substantial updates, patches, and bugfixes every month, two at most. A schedule as well as quality like this is something scarce amongst indie titles these days, so it's an obviously welcome thing to see.
Now with what I am about to say is by no means saying that this game is failing, nor do I believe that, but I can see how people would believe that I have that idea, I guess. Just prefacing that right now. I'm not saying that this game is/was doomed to fail, and I'm not saying that everyone or most people thought it would. But with the failures of asymmetrical multiplayer games in the past, a la Evolve, and the dominance that was held more than briefly by the game's main competitor, Dead by Daylight, this game seemed to be shrouded in bad luck from it's inception. Sounds somewhat cliche, but this has pulled through and is continuing to chug along quite well, in my opinion, as well as many others. I realize that this comment is probably better off in the reviews of the game, but as you can see, I got carried away. Hopefully I could change your opinion or help strengthen it.

TL;DR: I'm excited to play the new map lol
(P.S. if you wanna talk about F13, another game, the state of the industry, steam, or the world, feel free to add me and maybe we can have a nice lil' chat :j7: )
