"Launch Error Invalid Game Executable: Summercamp/Binaries/Win64/Summercamp.exe"
What does this mean and how can I fix it, because it won't let me launch my game with this error.

Hi there. Please forward a full dxdiag (taskbar search; dxdiag, then save all info and attach .txt file) as well as logs (found in game files) to f13game@fearthegun.com. The team will work to evaluate your issue and will respond if and when possible. Thanks in advance.

what i did to fix this is that i went to library, right clicked on friday the 13th, clicked on properties then clicked on local files and then clicked on verify integrity of game files. after i did that i launched the game and it worked.

Hi there! If you're experiencing issues like this, please let us know by submitting a report at http://jasonkillsbugs.com, that way we can help you all as quickly as possible! We may not see comments on older posts right away.

With that said, this issue can happen if another software, like an antivirus incorrectly removes summercamp.exe during it's scans. The next step taken to stop this depends on the antivirus used. There are three options.

1. Temporarily disable your antivirus while running the game.

2. Add summercamp.exe as an exception in your antivirus settings.

3. Remove the antivirus software.

After each of the above steps you will need to verify the integrity of the game files. In some cases after uninstalling the antivirus software you may need restart your PC and reinstall the game.

It is recommended to find a new antivirus software to keep your computer secure.

If the issue continues or you would like clarification please reach out to us at http://jasonkillsbugs.com

first off stop telling people to forward their issues to a site that looks shady and abandon. You sell your game on steam so either join the community and help us from here or take this pos off of Steam. 2nd , turning your anti-virus off is NOT a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fix so stop telling everyone that this is a solution, it's a work around at best. if anyone finds an actual fix to this be sure to let some of us know because clearly the devs have given up on this game.
