[TUTORIAL] Online Fix for after 31/12 !
As Gun Media closed the game backend we made a Online Fix patch to keep the game playable online.

Please note that this online fix is not supported/endorsed by Gun Media and is unofficial.

The installation is very simple.

0) Download lastest version of the patch *:
-> archive(dot)org/details/f13-onlinefix
-> replace (dot) with .
1) Make sure F13 Game is up to date with Steam and the game is closed
2) Extract F13Game folder to your steam content folder
(by default : C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common)
3) Click "Yes" to replace existing files
(make sure it asked to replace files, if not you putted it to wrong place !)
4) DONE ! Enjoy again F13 online with your friends.

* click only on "RAR download", if you don't have tool to extract the archive, i suggest the free one 7zip. Files are safe and got analysed by lot of people around here.
However, because of the missing digital signatures from files, Windows Defender (only on Windows 11) can treat it as a false positive. Any other antivirus will confirm that files are 100% safe. If you have any doubts, feel free to test the files on any online AV.

Downside to this version: P2P.
Runs fine either way. Very good.

It was already full P2P before backend closed in reality.
So far i don't see any downside to this version :steamthumbsup:

Yeah, i remember the dedicated servers update. Downside is that we have to rely on host connection reliability.

Do you know any good community lobby searchers? I tried to find one but no luck. I'd love to play normal lobbies(

Btw yall the fix is real, its not a virus.. its posted on internet archive,, if you open it its just 3 files that get replaced in game there is no malware.. we need the community back the servers r kinda empty so trust the link and come play friday again🖤🙏
Files look clean, my concern is, and I'm still not sure about this, does this 'fix' ignore region setting, because I keep changing region (even continents) and it throws me into the same lobby every time, which never happened before.
My question is this. Does it connect to their server now or is it fully non-server reliant as an actual co-op game should be? I want a complete stand alone version of the game. I'm not interested in other peoples servers only to end up in the same exact boat later on down the road mates. Preferably one that doesn't use EAC at all. This patch alters EAC. That alone is a red flag to me. lol:steamthumbsup::steamhappy:

It's Peer to peer, if it can't find a host it will instead make you a host of a lobby.

No servers, steamworks p2p. This fix wouldn't work if EAC was functioning, i assume.

It not alter EAC it's the opposite lol :steamfacepalm:
Ofc EAC is active and ofc if someone try join a lobby without EAC he is kicked by EAC.

If you want be sure, check in running process you will see EasyAntiCheat is running in background while the game is running.

I would assume it's because you chose not to host and there are no other hosted lobbies. So it falls back to any other regions with lobbies? Or your own as host. Not positive.

It was p2p for few years now, but it never happened for me to end up in a lobby with european host if I put let's say Brazil as a download region.

That explanation, on the other hand, is plausible.

That's not as bad then. I can live with that. Thanks mate.:steamthumbsup::steamhappy:

So let me ask you this then. If it doesn't alter EAC then why does the patch have an EAC game certificate and a game.bin file in it that you need to replace? What do those files do exactly if they are not altering EAC? They are in the EAC folder and the certificates sub folder and not the game files folder so it'd only be logical to conclude they alter EAC naturally. Maybe I'm not understanding something here. lol Thanks mate.:steamthumbsup::steamhappy:

Because as the game was patched the EAC certificate need to match the changes in order for EasyAntiCheat to continue to work.

I didn't even know lobby searchers existed! Thanks for the tip!

Anyone have an idea where to find this mod? I've searched around never had luck finding this one.
