[TUTORIAL] Online Fix for after 31/12 !

As Gun Media closed the game backend we made a Online Fix patch to keep the game playable online.

Please note that this online fix is not supported/endorsed by Gun Media and is unofficial.

The installation is very simple.

0) Download lastest version of the patch *:
-> archive(dot)org/details/f13-onlinefix
-> replace (dot) with .
1) Make sure F13 Game is up to date with Steam and the game is closed
2) Extract F13Game folder to your steam content folder
(by default : C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common)
3) Click "Yes" to replace existing files
(make sure it asked to replace files, if not you putted it to wrong place !)
4) DONE ! Enjoy again F13 online with your friends.

* click only on "RAR download", if you don't have tool to extract the archive, i suggest the free one 7zip. Files are safe and got analysed by lot of people around here.
However, because of the missing digital signatures from files, Windows Defender (only on Windows 11) can treat it as a false positive. Any other antivirus will confirm that files are 100% safe. If you have any doubts, feel free to test the files on any online AV.

The files are safe, it's just the summercamp.exe modified to use backend on local savefile.
You can test it on a VM if you not trust, then come back say here it worked for you.

but i'm sure the burner account guy lying about the nature of his game ban is giving you perfectly legitimate files and isn't taking advantage of you guys freaking the ♥♥♥♥ out about a server shutdown that hasn't happened yet

Also just try the fix before saying it's "fake" or "not works" because it really works.
Many people already tried it on discord, including people from the group Khaloof-_-Ssj4 shared.

Was just reposted it to tell people who only follow steam community about it.

does this make the achievements obtainable again?

No but it have correctly all badges this time unlocked.
It's just a replicat of the backend on your local savefile.

So same perks, same kills, all badge, all challenges and level 150.
You can host/join public/private match and host/join party.

I'm not very savvy on connections so even if we have the back end in our save file, isn't a server of some type required to connect to each other?

Ye all custom builds got striked for copyright issues.
Except CFG who is the last one not yet striked.
About the community fix here it's the real deal, the post just look suspicious because no video and no proof but the fix is working i can confirm it. And no virus but it's obvious people talked not even tried it xD.

I had to disable my windows defender to get the file and followed the instructions. I'm not too worried about a virus as I can just re install windows again if need be all my vital stuff is on a separate drive and backed up just in case. So far no ill affects but no way to actually test it till the data base finally does go away. I stiil think a server of some type is needed unless you become a "server" per say with this fix.

Yes because the exe is not signed by Gun Media so Windows see it.
But the exe itself have no virus.

So that fix will be the only way to keep playing Friday 13th (normal build) on PC.
Right now around 40 people tried it so far no issues.
All perks are there, matchs are smooths.

I really think someone (youtuber/streamer) should cover it to make people aware of this online fix existance.
