[TUTORIAL] Online Fix for after 31/12 !
As Gun Media closed the game backend we made a Online Fix patch to keep the game playable online.

Please note that this online fix is not supported/endorsed by Gun Media and is unofficial.

The installation is very simple.

0) Download lastest version of the patch *:
-> archive(dot)org/details/f13-onlinefix
-> replace (dot) with .
1) Make sure F13 Game is up to date with Steam and the game is closed
2) Extract F13Game folder to your steam content folder
(by default : C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common)
3) Click "Yes" to replace existing files
(make sure it asked to replace files, if not you putted it to wrong place !)
4) DONE ! Enjoy again F13 online with your friends.

* click only on "RAR download", if you don't have tool to extract the archive, i suggest the free one 7zip. Files are safe and got analysed by lot of people around here.
However, because of the missing digital signatures from files, Windows Defender (only on Windows 11) can treat it as a false positive. Any other antivirus will confirm that files are 100% safe. If you have any doubts, feel free to test the files on any online AV.

On CampBlood you can use the DNS method for the PS4 fix it gonna works.
Same it also works on CE.
Only the original Friday 13th on PC cannot work with DNS as it have encryptions and protections against it that's why this fix on files here exist.

Follow any tutorial to set custom DNS on Windows there is plenty.
Note the DNS method only gonna works for CB or CE on PC.
The official F13, RE etc won't work with that.

We added a notice to download only the RAR version.
Upon testings it seems it's the version who don't have issues with Windows Defender on Windows 11. If you have any other antivirus or use Windows 10 the zip version will works fine for you.

Again you can be guaranted files are safe and got checked by over 3K people right now. However if someone have a certificate to sign the files free feel to help here.
With certification, Windows Defender won't trigger anymore on Windows 11.
That much we already knew so I'll ask the obvious question mate. If they are the same files then why does one set off the virus scanner and the other one doesn't? Why are they even being set off at all? People want to know why their virus scanners are going off in the first place. Can you shed some light on that for us? Thanks in advance.:steamhappy:

Edit: Also I just gotta ask this. lol What 3k people is that mate? Last I checked the steam charts which was only a few hours ago it said only 55 people played the game for the day. lol Where exactly are your numbers coming from? lol:steamfacepalm:
Am I going to get a response on this OP? I'm honestly surprised that no one else is asking the same questions here. lol I'm not trying to be a jerk or anything, but these are legit questions mate.:steamhappy:

I see what you're saying. Thanks mate. What about my other question. If they are the same files then why does one set off the virus scanner and the other one doesn't? Why are they even being set off at all? Any idea? I was wondering because I am trying to explain the situation to other people and also I wouldn't have thought how they were zipped up made a difference. Thanks again for the help mate. I appreciate it.:steamhappy:

Try swapping from rar to zip on the one thats not affected see if it causes your PC to flip out over it. Or zip to rar whichever is the case. Wonder if it has something to do with the compression method if they're actually the same.

Thanks mate. I do have both versions of the file sitting on an external drive right now. I could be wrong, but I wouldn't think the compression method would make a difference. What concerns me is that we aren't really getting any clear explanations with what is going on here exactly. My dude throws up a post saying 3k people tested it when only 55 people actually played yesterday at the time of that post.

So I asked about it. He skips the part about the virus and says it's the number of people on the page who downloaded it. Well hold up. Let's process this. That doesn't mean 3k people tested it then. That means 3k downloaded it. I certainly didn't run it. lol So I haven't tested it.

Now I'm trying my best to be respectful and nice and give the OP the benefit of the doubt here and not call BS quite just yet, but my man isn't exactly being transparent with any actual information and any real answers here. In fact my dude really didn't answer crap. And I'm not seeing nobody stream the vanilla version of F13. In fact nobody is saying jack about it.

What I am seeing is a lot of Camp Forest Green content. So we know that's legit. We don't see jack on this miracle patch that all of a sudden dropped the day the servers went down though. So naturally I got to ask. What's really going on here? See what I'm saying?

I mean maybe it's just me, but I'd think more then 55 players would be playing F13 on steam if online was back up and running. And what amazes me is that nobody else seems to be really asking this crap. lol It's been 5 days and ain't nobody even really talking about this patch. That's a red flag to me mate. lol A HUGE red flag. lol:steamfacepalm:

well according to steam charts the hourly count has been somewhere between 40-60 per hour since Jan 1st. I'm assuming not everyone is playing at the same time over 24hrs that has tested this. So far no one has had any complaints about nefarious activity. If you're that concerned set up an isolated network over VM?

I checked two different charts at the time and unless I read it wrong which I don't think I did since I checked the part that shows the daily numbers and they both said 55 for the day at the time mate. And even if it reflects hourly that's still not going to add up to 3k. No where even close.

In fact if you check steam charts for example for today hourly is 39 and where it says 24-hour peak it is currently 58. That's for the day my guy. That's for the day. SteamDB same thing.

Now whether I test it in a VM or not is not the point mate. We're not getting any transparency here on this issue or any real answers from the creator. I asked some legit basic common sense questions regarding the files. They aren't complicated to answer. So what's the problem? What's the problem? Wouldn't you like to know? I would. I'm sure others would. So if everything is legit and on the up and up then it should be all good in the hood. Shouldn't be a problem at all.:steamhappy:

Edit: Adding this to hammer down my point. Let's assume 55 peak players aren't the same players who have been playing the game all day. Even though that's more likely to be the case. Let's assume every hour on the hour we had 55 new players log in. That's still only 1,320 players which is still not even close to 3k. Just so we are clear mates. lol:steamthumbsup::steamhappy:

I was under the assumption 24 hr peak was the peak of concurrent players during that 24 hr period. Not total accumulated over the course of 24. So if i am correct. 3k or so over 4 days now. With 50 per hour could be new players at any given hour isn't out of te realm of possibility. Thats beside the point. Not everyone who downloads used it or got it working. 50 percent probably got scared when it detected a possible false positive.

At any rate, I would suggest you just give it time for others to test, you're unlikely to receive the response you want here and for now just not use it.

This fix doesn't do anything for me. I verified files through Steam, I replaced all the files as needed, and it still gives the database error.
