Servers down?

I just heard about it. Not that it really concerns me, `cause the players are one of a S+++.
The game was really good, the graphics are awesome and the whole desing gave me a shivering.
But what me gave a kick was the users. Playing together with Jason to get exp, and when you are the new one, you got friendlykilled.
I don't thinkt it is not the Game you wanna Play. Sorry for that

You're joking right? They announced in 2023 that the servers would
go offline Dec, 31st 2024. The servers have been discontinued.

They announced in 2021 that the dedicated servers were being shut off and switched over to Predator Hunting Grounds, they later announced that peer to peer Quick match was being changed to Public Match or Host, then later still they announced that they were removing the game from sale in 2023 and the database would shut off on December 31st 2024.

Yeah. Well lots of things were promised but never happened either.
Then the database hackers happened and the care taker developers didn't
care about that enough to patch them out. So they shut down everything.

The mod to still play online is a thing but buyer beware what is in that mod.
Not saying it's bad, but beware that you get the right mod and not malware.
Lots of malware made to look like legit programs. Careful of the source.
