theres avery easy way of getting it to work again but its only does it on pc and ps4.if you go on youtube and search for friday the 13th working 2025 pc theres a few videos on how to do it.its as simple as downloading a file,unzipping it and then dropping it into the game file.sadly though it still has the modded lobby but you can host your own lobby or join a lobby through invite like im hoping people will do with me where if you add me as a friend and then message me when you see me on the game i can invite you to an unmodded lobby.i hated the modded lobies with loads of jasons and hundreds of survivors.i want to play how it was intended because this is one game that shouldnt have been shut down!

i dont have a discord server.i just host a public lobby through the game.i wonder if theres a way of having a discord server through this game because thats something i could look into.anyone can host their own lobby through the game still if they have downloaded the patch.its very easy.all im doing is trying to keep the game alive because i dont think enough people know about the patch or theyre just happy playing in modded lobbies.

thats a good idea but one thing ive noticed from playing tonight is my pc started to get really hot whilst playing.ive got a 4070 card and this game is really old now and its a simple mod but i cant understand why it got so hot.i play a lot of vr games and those put a strain on all graphics cards and mine doesnt heat up with vr games like it does whilst playing F13 with this new mod or whatever it is.i dont know if its anything to worry about but i thought id just share whats happening.

I doubt it's because of the online fix. F13 graphics settings were alwas f**ed. Try playing around with them or decrease internal resolution a bit.
