Will we still be able to play against bots when game shuts down?

I know bot games usually work when the game is offline, but not sure if it officially shutting down will be different. Also will we be able to use higher level Jasons in bot matches since we won't be online?

It may still work, the question is will you have your progress, I wager not because they're shutting the database off.

no you cant, you even dont enter the menu, bc main server off, when shut down far cry 3 and VHS servers I saw the lost connection message when try connect online, so here will be the same, but VHS community make mod that able to play matches with friends with no progress

Offline SHOULD still function.HOWEVER with no data base you'll likely be stuck with part 3 or part 5 and Savini if you were a backer .Also you'll make no progress,XP,CP. Part 3 and 5 are in the top 3 best Jason's to use anyway. 3 IS the best Jason in the game you can make no debate otherwise.

Yeah well, playing against bots isn't exactly challenging so it can be fun to mess around with different Jason's, like part 7 is by far my favorite skin to use.

will see when server shut down, but I think and how I see in another games you don't enter even to menu, you can off your internet and launch game and see that F13 show not connection and you cant see even menu and start play offline, I saw this few times when F13 main server was shot down for a short time

Yes it's pretty easy to test just disconnect your internet and you can still play against the bots you aren't connected to the data base then.

Frankly, I would be pleased to be left with zero progress and play against bots if it means I have no worry about getting malware or hacked by getting stuck in a hacker server among cheating losers. My entire reason for not logging into the game is fear of losing my soon to be deleted progress.

about which proggres you talking? all players boosted to max level, got all perks and achievments not working

I have not logged into the game in a year. I gave up on any hope for this game with the hacked servers and inundation of cheaters. I waited patiently for the fatal errors and database login failures to get fixed and they never did. Instead they are pulling the plug. R.I.P.

What about the Jason kill pack DLC's? Are they usable offline? Those are the only DLC's I never bought. I've been thinking about getting them before they get delisted, but I won't if it'll just be a waste of money.
