What goes on in the mind of a cheater?

I had a strange experience in a game I was playing earlier, had a cheating counselor in it and I didn't realize they were cheating right away. They were a nessa and were just doing the usual bullying and taunting over voice of Jason that I am pretty used to. They were being very confident and condescending, as if they were super good at the game, it wasn't until I got killed and started spectating that I realized this person was a cheater, they randomly started using their speed hacks and disarming all of J's traps. Weird thing is their behavior didn't change at all, they continued mocking and acting as if they were the best at the game when they're just a cheater. I guess I just wonder what's going on in a cheaters head, do they really believe they're good at the games they cheat at, or are they troubled IRL so they cheat in a game to be able to just enjoy a power trip for once?

Sadly, many of them start to believe in their cheating as true skill, it's not till they get caught anyway that they rage quit. the last time I was playing I had a match where there was a cheating nessa using hacks to warp from one end of the map to the other like Jason, I was hiding in the grave yard as AJ and 1 minute to go when the cheating nessa warped to me and brought Jason, seeing a slow AJ and a cheating nessa, the Jason B-lines me and kills me with 30 seconds to go. Needless to say, I called it a night.

Yesterday, I had a good chuckle. I watched a few broadcasts, then stumbled onto the broadcast of "wont say name", and watched them use a f13 trainer, as Jason.

- As a side-note, I really feel that the creator of that trainer is a bit of a phallus, due to giving an option to 'crash the game'.

Anyway, it wasn't long after 'Jason' flew up onto a roof, that the player noticed I was a viewing their broadcast, and ceased to perform anymore actions for about 2 minutes. I told them not to stop now, I already seen the trainer interface, and that I was just sitting here laughing, not at the cheating, but that they were actually broadcasting their self cheating.

Totally unrelated, of course, but I would avoid playing games where 'bootyeater3000' is playing, but that's just me.

The thing is there is absolutely NO penalty for hacking or cheating anymore. To my knowledge there have been ZERO bans ever since the DATA Base issue happened. Jason Kills Bugs is truly as total waste of time now. I've submitted video evidence over the past few weeks from players using speed hacks to using Jason X and NONE have been banned. It's just a free for all now as there is a way to get this "trainer" for free if you do enough digging.

The biggest problem with cheaters is that they do things that skilled players can do too.
like for example getting on the packanack lodge roof and a couple of other roofs in the game.
this is possible with Cheats of course,but skilled or experienced players know ways of going up there too just by using glitches or using their shift.

The cheaters try to make themselves feel validated by saying modding the game. That is hacking/cheating, as this game doesnt support mods. Your best bet is to report them to steam and the devs. Report any youtube videos you see online as well, and they will be taken down.

The game should support modding mates. They abandoned it. The game not supporting modding is one of the very reasons why the game died out after the whole lawsuit deal.

the best example for this is Camp blood,the Bloody pitchfork games discord server had 6000 members who wanted to play the camp blood build,sadly it got canceled,but imagine a F13 On pc that has 6000 players with new updates and game mods like paranoia or how every you spell that ♥♥♥♥.

They can't support modding BECAUSE it's a intellectual property, everything in the game the Rights owners can lay claim to.They would have had to negotiate modding during the licensing agreement between Gun and Horror Inc. which apparently didn't happen.

That's still cheating and unskilled. It was a good effort though :)

I think you need to know the difference between cheating and exploiting. While it might be annoying to see Jason get ontop of a roof, it doesn't give you any advantage, does it?

I seen some videos on that. It looked really awesome mate. I thought they did they a really great job with it. I would have even reconsidered reinstalling the game for that. lol

I think for me the reason it never annoyed me was because Jason was on rooftops in the movies. So it fit in with the lore on stuff he's pulled mate.

I have to laugh at this because reality check, reporting to Steam or sending video evidence to Jason Kills Bugs Is a TOTAL waste of time now. Trust me I know. NOBODY has been banned for I'd say 6 months possibly longer. They don't even view video evidence anymore,I can prove that.I have evidence that I submitted hasn't been viewed 1 time.

Jason was on a rooftop in 1 movie and it wasn't even Crystal Lake...

Exactly. lol Thanks mate. lol I also want to point out that he pulled a lady out of a second story window in Part 4 I believe it was. Which was pretty close to the roof and if we count the remake in 2009 he was definitely standing on top of the roof at Crystal Lake as well there also.

Yea, Sgt. Goodboy is pretty much a troll. He saw one of my friends (Golumhasir) morphing himself on the packanack lodge and went into his reviews, guides, etc... just to trashtalk.
