BTW he cannot teleport 24/7 as he pleases.
Be a little bit more open minded. The devs read so much criticism already and they aren't dumb.
They'll know how to make it fun :)
Normal person = is not a demon :D
Sometimes things have to be made into fun gameplay mechanics, that simple really. It should have a long cooldown though IMO
Also, Jason is pretty much akin to a person reborn as a revenent.
Did you watch the game play videos? Yeah it has a cool down, but it is like 2-3 seconds (I know I know they can change it) for the map teleport then he has a localized teleport that he can use immediately after that for the kill. See the opening kill here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=to_fWMlqORM
from second 35-39 he does a map teleport, followed by the localized teleport, by the time he is holding her by her throat his map teleport it back up, and by 49 seconds in (the time he finishes walking to the rock) his localized teleport is back up. They really need to make sure they add far more of a timeout between uses. Especially having two of them, a grand total of 14 seconds between 4 TPs is not enough (more like 5 each).
I mean it is going to come down to:
Jason TPs nearr someone, Jason locally TPs for the kill, Jason looks for next person using his sight which highlights where they are and the sound, Jason TPs to them, Jason Locally TPs for the kill, rinse repeat. Actually he essentially does that very thing with the first two kills in the video.
You unlock abilites as the game progresses, they are not unlocked right off the bat.
You only get on ability when the match starts.
Watch this video it explains this much more than i could.

Side note though, I know the whole smoke thing is a placeholder but I hope whatever they replace it with is good.
We were promised new "real" gameplay footage. This statement was given Aug the second. Still waiting...
If it's a decision of what to use I think a water mist would be awesome. Mayne even include one of the symnols from the VC knot chart anchored in the center glowing red and fading in/out with the mist. Some cool sound effects could be tied into something like that.
