Trust me. At this point buying this game for single player is a really stupid idea
I already own the game, got in a sale last year, never installed it.
Only people who own the game in their library can post on the steam forums.
It has been that way since last summer. It seems kind of dumb to keep it locked since we are in desperate need of new players.
OP the "single player" right now is just about mindlessly killing weak AI. The AI is so bad. There are single player challenges coming, but that isn't the meat of the game. Multiplayer is.
You should have played the game when you got it. It was very unbalanced, but still fun because of all the new players due to the sale. Now it is a wasteland filled with griefers and exploiters in addition to a few try hards.
