Mods?

Now that the game is done with DLC, servers closing etc
has there been any word if they will allow mods
- Clothes, hair, model mods etc
Single player free cam mods, so you can move the camera around freely and watch the npcs interact etc
Would add more fun to this game

Modifications are not able to be supported because Friday the 13th: The Game is part of a licensed IP.

Any modifications would go against the code of conduct.

It is sad to say that, but there is no point in pushing the game any more, the team should gather and make a new game, it will do better than the newly released survival games, just reproduce the magic in this game.

Well... it's not like Gun Media is going to be monitoring their exploit/hacker reporting site; JasonKillsBugs, anymore. So I expect mods to run rampant.

The problem is not that changing some models, sounds etc. is bad but the problem is what the community will change. Players could easily make the counselor models 918282 times bigger to see them from the distance and i dont think anyone wants to play a match like this, they can make the Jason model 838737 times bigger for the same purpose.

Totally NOT the case. I've reported 3 people since servers went away and last patch for having Uber Jason selected as their Jason in the waiting lobby and now all 3 are banned.

I mean I don't see why character and camera tweaks for single player should be bannable offences. What is the harm in a mod putting kenny shair on chads head etc

Why would you report someone with an Uber Jason, like, it's just a model/skin with another Jason's stats; what advantage would someone have with that?

It's not exactly cheating is it... Most of us can't have Savini Jason. Going by your logic we should report all Savini's.

Im not sure if we play the same game but if someone has Uber Jason he will 100% have infinite abilities and insta melee kills and Uber Jason has the best stats in the game.
Playing against an Uber Jason its like going with a balloon to a gun fight.

Uber Jason has his own stats not using another Jason's stats and he would be in upper tier of Jason's, still not quite Savini but darn close.I have a modded version of the game but it is NOT playable online so I know what I'm talking about. People have figured out how to get him online though and as pointed out they usually have super abilities to go along with it.Savini is much harder to detect "modded" versions and Savini was an available character if you were a backer of the game. So reporting Savini's is pointless unless you catch them doing things out of the ordinary or if you see a bloody skin version of Savini that is a tell tale sign of a hacker.

its actually a mod everyone can go get on moddb that gives access to stuff that was in the code but unfinished. This included Uber Jason with his new machete, savini jason for everyone, the map to go with uber jason, more skins
