I think its as low as 3,5 GB so is the game any good? Why isnt it 20 GB+ ? Why just 3,5 GB ??

It's called compression. Their dev build, uncooked, was apparently around 30gb. So with compression they have it down to 3.5.

When everyone is sitting with a couple of TB hard drives, why care about space in 2017?

Because not everyone is sitting on a couple of TB hard drives :P

But I agree who care. I only have like 40 gig's/1tb left. I really need to clear space

This coupled with the fact some people have bandwidth limits put on them. That said I personally have 2x 2tb hard drives and only about 300gb free between the 2. Lol

What does game file size have to do with it's quality.

The bigger, the better is a general thumb rule.

I think it will take 20 GB or more

This is objectively false. Bigger file sizes are often just companies (R* with GTA V and it's 60+ gigs as an example) choosing not to compress various files so the game becomes a pain in the a$$ to pirate, but more often it just becomes a pain for customers.

This. Bigger doesn't necessarily mean better. I see a lack of compression as sheer laziness, but I guess it could have something to do with discouraging pirating. I mean most people will see a 60gb download and say "Nope." but I also believe there are many more that don't care and will download it anyway.

I believe Titanfall had 35gb of uncompressed audio leaving 13gb for the game.

That's not true at all.

Just look at the single player FPS genre some of those games seem to have rather huge file size and your lucky if they have 10hrs of content.

I've played games under 2gb in size which have been higher quality and a more fun gaming experience than others with 40gb+ needed which in the end I considered a waste of HDD space.
