Cant do much as a survivor who is watching the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ under the bed
I heard that if the Jason doesn't see you go into the cabin/hide under the bed then his sense doesnt pick you up (light the cabin up red).
It will do if they are even a little scared and/or if you have rage up.
Killing the lights makes people scared and will mark them even if they are hiding.
Additionally, use stalk and you can hear them breathing if you are nearby.
Now if you get a low composture character trying that, if Jason happens to check that building, they will likely fear too much and say something to give themselves away. (Jason's presence INSIDE the building will cause some fear generation, more so if the power's out. Though much slower then normal due to the hiding spot's passive fear resistence and reduction.)
I've hid for a while before as Vanessa, but that was only because everyone else was dead and I was in the building that was in easy reach to both exits and the police were coming. Jason came close but never checked any of those houses due to no fear and the hiding spot. However, once the poilce came and he was checking elsewhere, I rushed out and escaped.
Now if you want my seggestion to all match hiders, a effect that causes 'boredom' to overtake the character can be put in. Hiding for more then 3-5 minutes causes the character to become restless and eventually evacuate the hiding spot and be unable to hide for 1 minute. Possiably generating enough fear to be sensed for a moment if Jason's actively looking.
Pretty much this. I mean, he -might- find you but if your avoid is high enough it'll be random chance if he does.
