People Hiding Under Beds ALL Match
Been having a few games lately where people have been hiding under a bed in a cabin for the entire match. This then means that some of the Jasons are unable to find them and then everybody else has to wait for the end of the match. Maybe something could be done so that the Jason's can sense people who are under a bed by having the whole cabin light up red (after he is in rage mode). This might make it more fair on the other players?

It already does that with sense. The only way you're gonna survive the whole match under the bed is if you have a very bad Jason.

OR......OR, you can start bed stabbing......

I've tried doing this, and most Jason's are able to beeline directly to me and kill me, so it was probably just someone who doesn't know how to use Jason's sense ability to it's potential.

If you're Jason, just kill all the power generators and their house will light up red on your sense

I heard that if the Jason doesn't see you go into the cabin/hide under the bed then his sense doesnt pick you up (light the cabin up red).

Not true. Jason's sense detects noise and fear levels.

It doesn't if the player isn't scared.

It will do if they are even a little scared and/or if you have rage up.
Killing the lights makes people scared and will mark them even if they are hiding.

Additionally, use stalk and you can hear them breathing if you are nearby.

It's sort of determined by fear and composture, as that is sort of already done. What crops up often with these hiders is they play a high composture character so their fear stays at zero the entire match. Thus preventing the highlight at all times. Honestly, any character can pull it off, but AJ and Jenny can do it the best as even if another player is chased by Jason into the house, they will retain their cool and not have to hold their breath.

Now if you get a low composture character trying that, if Jason happens to check that building, they will likely fear too much and say something to give themselves away. (Jason's presence INSIDE the building will cause some fear generation, more so if the power's out. Though much slower then normal due to the hiding spot's passive fear resistence and reduction.)

I've hid for a while before as Vanessa, but that was only because everyone else was dead and I was in the building that was in easy reach to both exits and the police were coming. Jason came close but never checked any of those houses due to no fear and the hiding spot. However, once the poilce came and he was checking elsewhere, I rushed out and escaped.

Now if you want my seggestion to all match hiders, a effect that causes 'boredom' to overtake the character can be put in. Hiding for more then 3-5 minutes causes the character to become restless and eventually evacuate the hiding spot and be unable to hide for 1 minute. Possiably generating enough fear to be sensed for a moment if Jason's actively looking.

You break all electric boxes and there you go. More than that if someone is near he will freak out and make a noise. You shoul not be visible to Jason if you are in a well lit cabin in a hiding spot.

There are perks that help you avoid sense. I've won plenty of games by "wasting everyone's time under a bed" thanks to stacking the appropriate ones. Makes for good Netflix watching time while getting easy CP.

Pray for a better Jason or don't stick around and just queue up again, the 500xp isn't worth more than a few minutes.

Pretty much this. I mean, he -might- find you but if your avoid is high enough it'll be random chance if he does.

Break the generators and it will make them cry out in fear and then the house lights up in red.

The generator does the trick.. destroy all of them.
