Friday the 13th vs Dead by Daylight player counts
I personally like Friday the 13th more, but I can not understand why dead by daylight have over 50 times more player counts. Anyone have an answer? Is it because of constant updates and dlc?

You can ask youself why Fortnite has tons of players compared to Pubg. I don't know. And I don't really care

im pretty sure people play dbd because it has constant updates and dlcs. Like what a REAL game should be doing.

I have no idea. DBD is nowhere near as good of a game. I guess because the price is cheaper and they regularly release paid DLC, which is not that impressive of a feat in my opinion. Every game basically plays out the same way in DBD with minor cosmetic differences between the DLC's.

and its heavly survivor sided and pay to win

Yea idk either. While it's pretty obvious that f13 game-play wise is superior to dbd in almost every way, but even the devs for f13 are better than dbd's. We have gun and black towers over here continuing to push out balance and bug-fix patches even though they can't add any sort of content to the game, while behavior is sitting over there thinking about which cosmetic sets they should add into the game next instead of focusing on the actual problems of the game.

The balancing is not the best but f13 isn't much better. I don't know how it could be pay to win and you don't seem to have even played the game.
Because the people doesn't know how to play this amazing game. And in overall, people loves stupid games.

Comparing behaviour with illFonic lol. Dbd doesnt have game breaking problems like friday its all got fixed. For fridaydevs its a long time to go. Dbd had update recently improving a lot of things like zero momentum speed after vaulting a window.

Yea because adding legion and changing a couple of perks is such a big improvement for dbd. And dbd is filled with game breaking bugs and glitches, like the basement locker bug that you can use as survivor to get on top of buildings and roofs making you completely unreachable and invincible, the animation bug for survivors that causes them to slide making them completely unpredictable, the vaulting bug where it plays the vaulting animation but doesn't actually move the survivor over the vault, and many many more. The only thing they did to really "balance" dbd in the latest patch was making medium vaults faster for some ♥♥♥♥ing reason, like looping isn't already bad enough.

I'm guessing it's something to do with DBD's casual gameplay, (whereas F13's is geared towards the more hardcore type of gameplay) fleshed out progression system, (whereas F13's is lackluster) Regular updates adding content and such, (F13 has never had a regular schedule of giving us content, sometimes it takes months on end) repetitive gameplay (though DBD has this and it's far worse in DBD so i don't know, definitely doesn't help F13s case though) among other little things.

Personally i'd rather hug a cactus than play DBD for hours on end on either side (killers are unbalanced af and make you want to tear your hair out at high ranks unless you play Billy or Nurse but that's boring as ♥♥♥♥ and Survivor gameplay is just ResidentSleeper in general, wooo fixing gens and looping around chunks of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wood all game, riveting i know. Not mentioning that DBD's community is full of retarded pre-pubescent apes that will harass you at every given opportunity as the game is a toxic cesspool/wasteland) but that's just me.

It's many things really but i say it's because of DBDs content and casual/braindead gameplay. Kids often struggle to keep up in games that require skill. F13, even Last Year is far superior in that regard.

TL;DR?: Autism, that's floating around a lot in today's gaming industry. *cough* Fortnite *cough* battle royale metas *cough*

I mean I don't mind that people like different games than me. It may even keep some undesirable people out of the games I play.

To answer your question no one thing killed the game. it died from a million paper cuts. The lawsuit was just a coup de gras that would prevent anything from improving drastically in the player count.

Because dbd developers are not incompetent.
Have you even played dbd?

We've roughly the same. Then you should know that dbd devs are just slightly less incompetent than f13 ones. Even though their game is more successful, two years later it still has many issues that even f13 on release didn't have.

Show me any of those "gamebreaking" bugs in current version. If you complain about current looping then you simply bad as killer.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9tz-qqRYfJc&t This video as well as many other videos like these showcases an insane amount of game breaking ♥♥♥♥ in dbd. And it doesn't matter how good a player is at killer, the rng tile spawns and placements for pallets and vaults at certain places on most maps are so bad that the killer can never close in the gap between them and the survivor once the survivor starts looping them.

Still has issues yeah any game has bugs but you can play it and have decent experience while in friday you either die instantly thanks to cheese Jason killing or its boring to play against such Jason
Dude if you die to Jason instantly at the start of the match then you're just plain bad as counselor. That's literally when Jason is in his weakest state.
