You mean potentially over. I have no idea if they'll appeal but don't get your hopes up. I'm not going to pretend to be an expert on the legal system but unless they settle or the appeals get thrown out, someone can just appeal and start the process over again.

You guys forgot that they are already discussing on a new movie already. Companies are discussing it. They are just already discussing ideas. It's on the table right now. Right now they are waiting on the lawsuit at the moment because it will tide over. There WILL be another F13 movie in the works. And THERE will be a DLC anyways. It doesn't matter. It's called franchise. Franchise makes money. Kane Hodder already wants to don Michael Myers in the next Halloween film and he already said he is ready to return as Jason as soon the time comes. F13 ISN'T dead. The movies are returning. Don't underestimate the movie business. Movies don't die off that easy like F13 did. People think it's got a death curse but the movie is already cursed to have more movies and they are gonna do it right this time. Perhaps the 13th film will likely tie some things in to take the concept of idea of returning Tommy Jarvis role. Corey was Tommy as a kid. Just like how Halloween never did the right sequels and it was all mixed up a bit. So was F13. Everything can be fixed. And they will do it right. This time with Corey instead of the blonde dude. :D Not a joke :D I recently read a new article about it. They were already talking about it! NO reboots please!

Have you finally accepted the rights dispute affected this game? This news is at best a MAYBE. If Sean loses again he'll probably appeal to the Supreme court and if Victor loses I'm sure he will appeal too. It don't mean anything to this game at all even if it comes true and they decide to settle. They don't have to settle right away either that could take months of negotiating.

You forgot the fact they handed this to another crew to work on. Another crew or company or developer can take over and add more stuff. Have you forgotten that they can do that? Not a big deal. Just because a developer left doesn't mean the game is over. There's work around for this. Otherwise I'd start a petition on Change.org or talk to some people I very well know how to connect to start up a crew to help assist this game. I promise you there are tons of other developers who would love to take over this game and make a profit for their company too. Everyone knows that F13 is a huge franchise in the movie business. It doesn't matter. Once the movie hits back they're gonna want to take over and make more money. It's called business. If the developers don't want it. I am pretty certain another company can take over it easily if they decided to hand it over to them. I am pretty sure they'd be not stupid to do so because F13 can be fixed and it's a profit maker. It's freaking F13 for god's sake. I am pretty sure someone with tons of money can take over this game easily and they would take it because they need it. This game failed badly and now we still have yet repairs and updates for the animated kills that don't work at the moment. You can't seem to grab an object and use the animation kill. I have half of a mind to reinstall and see if it works. You can use the cooldown kills but not the map kills.

This game is not getting content PERIOD no matter what if any outcome that MAY happen in June.Any Dev team is NOT going to work for free.So how are they going to get paid?There is barely any money coming in now to pay Black Tower which is just a skeleton crew. This game is essentially dead content wise.

That's the point. They will get paid by the company themselves. Why would they ignore a chance that they can make a profit off a franchise that won't die? It's still alive. Movies make business. Once it comes out it'll at least be a promotion for this game likely. I know I would have done that if the movie came out. It can make profit anyways. It can easily be bought by another company if they had a boat load of money. They won't turn that down at all.

They're already working with a Skeleton Crew. you can't expect the people to come running back, especially to a game with this infamy. In case you haven't noticed both developer teams have created more bugs with new patches ... the game has been "spaghetti coded" from the start.

It doesn't matter how much publicity you think the game is going to get after the lawsuit settles you have to hire more people keep paying for servers and hope that the player base somehow magically increases (in terms of sales). Asymmetrical horror games are very fine niche in the gaming world and gun media has pretty much saturated the market especially by releasing on different consoles.

Long story short, they've milked the cow and they are moving on. Everything else is wishful thinking on your guys's part and there's nothing wrong with that, but wake up and read the developers own messages: content isn't happening.

This game to them is dead, most you can wish for is them selling the rights for Dead by daylight to do a jason which with that game so toxic and broken at the moment... wishful thinking

Gun can't sell the rights.They only have permission to use the license.The rights are yet to be determined who actually owns them.That is why the entire franchise is on hold.

I wonder why have not bothered to repair the environmental animation kills? You grab E button and a object on a table or door. There is just gripping in air. Nothing happens. This has never been addressed for a very long time and I want them to fix this contraption!
