So... I got banned.

First of all I wanna say I probably deserved a ban. I was using GreenLuma ,for those who know it, 2 months ago to get the extra dlcs I did not own. I am gonna be short, I am one of the very old players started playing the game past July, got it cracked at first, and I was playing on there for about 3 months when I decided to buy it and support the devs. I also bought the emote pack, but it doesn't matter. I wanna state that I live in Greece, and the 32euros I spent, to buy a video game well it was a respectable amount of money ,I am 19 and I don't work. After 2 months I came back to the game after the update, and started steam with GL from habbit, it has been patched but I have a few matches, without dlcs and such. Today I sign in and boom, PERMA-ban. Okay. So you want to tell me that this deserved a perma-ban when people are speedhacking and such. You wanna tell me I did something called cheating with 2-3 dlcs on my game which I did not buy, worth of 7euro max. I do not regret doing it, I would not buy them eitherway, but man, wow, not even a 1 month ban or something, a perma. Ofc I'm not gonna buy this game again with this joke of dev team, 5 months for an update, and I do not wanna hear the crap "they are a small team" again, they've earned enough to hire people to help them if they wanted. I wanna close the thread here, I had a blast during all this time, and met some very cool people too. I am deeply dissapointed tho, from the devs and for the loss of the money I spent on a game that feels abandoned, with such a small player base (I'm talking about PC I do not watch console numbers). I hope this game will rise again, and be a long-lived one, cause it has potential and is extremely fun to play with friends. Cheers!

Dude the game's EAC package hasn't been updated since October and I know someone who obtained him that way who isn't banned.

Bans are bans. You're responsible for your own actions. If you forgot that you had GL running when you ran the game/Steam opened well... next time you'll be more careful.

I got VAC-banned the same way. Tried to play Red Orchestra 2 online when i was trying to manipulate the training/offline modes with Cheat Engine and i accidentally left it running when i tried to play multiplayer. Was VAC'd instantly after about 2 mins of entering a match. I take the blame for this of course, was my stupid mistake.

Just got to take care next time. It's all you really can do since the VAC's are non-negotiable. Thanks Steam you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥...

Well yeah, definently my mistake there, but the last word for the ban, it is that of the dev team, which could have been something like 1 or 2 months, I repeat last night I did not even play with cracked dlcs, just the game with Luma opened. Anyways if I feel like playing again, I will stick to the cracked version.:)

I have the counselor clothing pack and you do have a point.

I would think compromising their system has more to do with the ban, even though in a month or two that will be half the playerbase again.

eac has been updated, dbd and this's eac both ban if someone is using luma.
