I work since 4 Years with the Unreal Engine 4 but you call me a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and Moron so I dont help you in this Case!
IS STILL GONNA BE POSSIBLE TO PLAY WITH WIDER FOV?
" Fix FOV
File: Engine.ini
Section: [/script/engine.localplayer]
AspectRatioAxisConstraint=AspectRatio_MaintainYFOV "
I think they both use the same Unreal Engine versions.
Thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/StateOfDecay/comments/8ke2w8/state_of_decay_2_ultimate_ini_tweak_guide_fov/
We need an updated .ini tweak guide / ini tweak program.
That's the fix we used. It works in the main menu, lobby, and even the pregame scoreboard for me, but not once I get in as counselor/Jason.
You can no longer resize your window using click and drag and must resort to the clunky menu settings to set your window size. If you use the highest settings like 1920x1600 or 1920x1200 on a standard widescreen, it will default to full screen every damn time even in Windowed Settings. Setting the resolution to 1920x1050 will make a properly sized window, but it's certainly not ideal. I'm running a GTX 1060 6GB, so I know it's not my graphics card.
They screwed up not only the lighting but the ability to enlarge/decrease your window size!! Now you can run full screen and get sick to your stomach or run a windowed view with a decreased resolution. Frustrating with no fix any time soon.
[/script/engine.localplayer]
AspectRatioAxisConstraint=AspectRatio_MaintainYFOV
change the FOV on his maximum and is not correct the 21:9 Resolution size that so many Players think!
It depends on the Game how much the FOV goes, it looks for me that F13 uses a Standard FOV from 70-75 maximum. If you change it to the max its like the old Quake 3 FOV from 120
in the older Fortnite BR Version when you changed the Inif File to the maximum it was a FOV from 140!
maybe the add a real 21:9 support, bcs. setting the Vertical FOV to the maximum is only push the camera as wide as possible in the back and thiis is not a correct widescreen size..
you can try this:
just right click the game on Steam and choose “Properties”, “Set Launch Options” and copy/paste this line:
-fullscreen -w <2560> -h <1080t>
or the maximum native Resolution your Monitor can handle
-fullscreen -w <3440> -h <1440t>
r.setRes 1920 x1280w
the w stands for the window mode :-)
but not every Unreal Engine Game supports it, normaly its a console command, but give it a chance
C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\SummerCamp\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
and open "input.ini"
add the line
"ConsoleKey=Tilde"
or whatever key you like :-)
start the Game and open the console with your edited key before,#
now paste the command in
r.setRes 1920 x1280w
I dont know if this file is also blocked from the Devs!
