also put more tips like 1.know your control mapping before playing,
2.If you find a a item for cars/boat/phone and don't want to take it to there but need other people to know grab the item and hold z to have it display on the maps.
3.If you want to try to increased chances of playing Jason go to customize than spawn preference
- Don't panic if Jason instantly teleports to where you spawn. He's not a threat until he gets shift. As long as you don't run into his arms or waste all your stamina by sprinting away, you're gonna be just fine, even if you're a fat and out of shape character. Just have an escape route ready, search drawers and don't leave before Jason's actually getting into the house/going for you.
- Stealth is useless with experienced players - good Jasons doesn't go for the noise pings. Still, conserving stamina is the key to being an strong, independent counselor who needs no teammate. Don't sprint unless Jason's shifting or you need to put some distance (like a couple of metres, not half the map) between you.
- Don't ever lock the flimsy doors. Jason breaks them down in one hit regardless and those doors are super awesome for rage trolling and/or avoiding shift later on.
- A good perk is love, a good perk is life.
- Broken windows will eventually hurt you even if you climb through them slowly.
- If you see an objective item, pick it up and, if you don't want to carry it, drop it, so that others can see it on the map.
- If you hold an objective item and get chased/get into the car/boat, drop it on the spot, for reasons that should be obvious.
- Rage Jason is best Jason. 1. Grab good stun weapon. 2. Close door behind you. 3. Jason bursts in. 4. Smack Jason in the face and stun him. 5. ??? 6. Profit! Go to next house/room and repeat. Good Jasons will avoid it by stop using rage or going through the walls instead. Most Jasons won't.
- Be selfish. If you're gonna spend your first time in the game helping others, you're gonna have a bad time. Don't risk your neck for other counselors. Focus on learning the game and having fun. You can (but don't have to) care about the rest when you're good at the game. My motto in life is "if I fixed the car, I'm leaving in the car. If you fixed the car, I might still be the only one leaving in the car". It never fails.
I Sprint everywhere at hoard knives, and repair with low repair characters.
For some reason it hasn't been happening in a lot of my games recently.
