Michael Myers story based game.

I posted something yesterday about a Michael Myers video game. (I know this is a friday the 13th community hub but there both slashers)

I am astonished to learn that there has never been a true halloween video game. There was one from the 80's and a recent fan made poor quality game. With horror being such a popular genre right now I think it should happen. They added him in dead by daylight but that gets very boring quick.

So I propose a Halloween video game, based not on multiplayer like friday the 13th but on a brand new amazing singleplayer storyline. People may say it doesnt sound very creative, or its been done before, but the thing is it hasnt. We halloween fans have never had to run and survive from Myers himself before, we have never been in the situation that Laurie Strode was in the orginal movie, so I say we make it happen.

Just want some feedback, what do you guys think?

Seriously though, I agree that Michael Myers is one of the most iconic slasher baddie, and that the setting alone would make a great survival game, but I doubt it'll happen any time soon.

F13 and DbD's gameplays are different enough for both game to feel like they're not a complete rip off the other. I'm not sure how they could pull that off for Halloween. Especially considering that MM is already a playable killer in DbD.

I feel your pain though, I'm a Freddy fanboy myself and all I have are really bad NES and Commodore games. And Mortal Kombat.

Michael Myers can wait, he's not that cool (in my opinion).

Freddy Krueger is very cool, but I think his game would be more multiplayer then singleplayer. Myers slasher style isnt fast enough to have a multiplayer game, thats why a storybased game would be perfect.

Technically speaking if you look at games like Mortal Kombat, not only do you see Freddy as a playable char, but you have one MK game where Jason plays in it as well. And since we are on the topic of michael myers, He's also appeared in the game Terrordrome, which paid tribute to a lot of the old horror franchises.

freddy would probably be the best in a multy player and single player game , because he is a dream demon he has no limits with what u can do , maps would have no limits either because u can bounce from the dream to reality or even both at the same time , and add in the fact freddy can appear as anyone or be anywhere , that could be really intense game if done right

Personally I think a Freddy game would be more trippy and demented, but Michael Myers has always had he best slasher storylines. Thats why if you go to numerous websites the first halloween is ranked the best slasher movie of all time, not beacuse its super gory or demented but more because of the storyline and mysteriousness of Myers himself.

if there were a halloween game i personly would like to see it in confined places like a hospital or institution or mansion etc , and be very hide and seek style , michael does not work so well with out door scenarios it dont feel right and none of the movies were like that , sound being ultra important lol , kind of like halloween resurection , even though thats not one of the better movies , but thats what im thinking of as game style , or halloween 2

I was thinking storymode and then multiplayer mode were you start in the 10th story building of a hospital and you have to survive and make it out to the 1st story while Michael is hunting you.

It's possible Freddie Kruger could end up in the game as future DLC or update. Since he has a legit role in the series when the two crossed. Other than that i doubt it, wouldn't make sense if random famous killers started appearing in "Friday the 13th".

Actually that isn't likely at all. Freddy vs Jason is under a different license altogether. We have a chance at Jasons from all the movies up to Jason X. Everything after that is owned by someone else.
