I have found out that the controller is better than the keyboard when it comes to trying to break out of Jason grab. Dont ask me why but for some reason it does.
The thing to why the escape artist perk is so underrated is the fact that jason can instantly kill you, if he is in a good spot to use his kills to the point that it almost makes this perk useless or any counselor that just good enough to break out without the perk..
And no, grab isn't OP. Or rather: A successful grab should give you a close to guaranteed kill. The grab range and cone already got heavily nerfed. Not trying to do the good old "git gud", but practice juking and avoid getting grabbed in the first place. If you learn to juke with Jenny (who's arguably the worst counselor), you're gonna do just fine when/if you proceed to play the characters with more stamina and speed. Or just stay around people with weapons who can and will smack Jason if you get grabbed.
Grabbing is the easiest thing you can do, its done extremely fast and has the same range as any melee weapon. Grab IS OP because of the broken time Jason can start the kill animation.
