Also from the looks of it, it's a sports variant of the bakini. And considering she's the Althletic Girl and seems to wear a track suit 24/7 otherwise, it won't surprise me she bought that for that very fact rather then for the looks. Shark skin is for the pros I suppose.
I do sort of hope they address Vanessa's graphical error reguarding the missing mesh that can easily be noticed if you're interacting with drawers (And thus able to look down the open area in her suit) while she's wearing bright clothes. Her model is missing skin or anything under there, creating this void that lets you see the clothes under her. Could have at least darkened it out, as it does sort of glow to the player. I feel a good deal of other players have yet to notice it thanks to trying to make her wear as close to camo as possiable with the brown and black tracksuits and it's never been mentioned at all, but even if you're not at all interested in a peak, wearing the pink or cyan tracksuit (The latter from the Retro Update) will often cause that glowspot. And from the looks of the swimsuit, it may be subject to that same issue.
I care. I like my video games to have proper A E S T H E T I C
My jollies shall never be quenched until Vanessa is put in a two-piece bikini.
