Easy Anti Cheat with Friday the 13th

I downloaded anti cheat because at first it was telling me that I needed to install it so I did. After I installed it and tried to start friday the 13th it said i needed to restart my pc. I restarted it and it said the same thing again. I tried shutting down my pc and restarting it as well and I also uninstalled Anti cheat and reinstalled it and still nothing. Anybody know what to do?

It's there when you first install the game.

Go to the game's folder (steam's folder then steamapps then common then f13th game) In there you'll find a folder called "EasyAntiCheat", you'll find a setup in there, install it then it should work.

Now it says my internet connection doesn't work. Offline mode only offers 3 options
-Connection
-How to play (stupif still pictures)
-Quit
I don't even understand why there's an offline mode. I can't set any graphic options or anything.
Does steam still offer refunds for games you played less than 2 hours?

Can you be a little more specific please? I got to the library and click games then where do i go from there?

Disregard my last comment i figured out what you meant. I went into the folder and Easy Anti Cheat was not in there

I checked their original website but they dont have a download screen, the only other sites that offer the download might be outdated or suspicious, have you tried verifying your local game content?

This will installing STEAM.

Start STEAM → Library → Game

Game → Friday the 13th: The Game → Properties → Local file → Browse local files

Browse local files → EasyAntiCheat folder → EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe → Friday the 13th: The Game → Install


EasyAntiCheat will be installed with some games as a bonus to STEAM.
However, please be aware that the cheat check program may get caught by "controller fire" of its own controller etc.
Also, please use the firewire function only for local games.
