Mac version, where to buy?

Will it be released on a mac (steam), or do I have to purchase it directly on f13game to get the mac version? The reason I am asking, is because on steam, there is no mention of a mac release, only win7/8/10. Thanks

There is no Mac version. They could make it happen later, but I doubt it. That said, people need to quit gaming on Mac. They are overpriced garbage systems and weren't designed with gaming in mind.

thanks for info. However on their website, I saw a picture of a DVD with Windows and Mac logos next to each other, so I thought they're going to release a Mac version too. But now I checked their website again and they don't show that picture anymore, just Windows, Xbox One and PlayStation, which is pretty confusing.

Here's some info from their FAQ page:

-Will you launch for Mac?

We’re pretty confident the game will be playable on Mac, however we have not 100% confirmed that just yet.

On a side note, I just noticed on the backerkit site that the physical versions of the games and the limited steelbook edition are not available for sale/order right now, only the digital versions are listed. The only physical merch still listted are the artbook and the soundtrack. I don't know what that means exactly, maybe they have reached the quota they planned for the first run of copies.

Thanks makred78, I missed the FAQ section on their website. From what they are saying it sounds like they're considering releasing a mac version, which is a good sign. I'm not in a hurry, but hopefully they release it eventually (doesn't have to be exactly on the official release date).

I don't know if the info on that FAQ page represent the most recent status on the matter. Just to be sure you could ask them on twitter about it, they are pretty active over there.

The last official thing I heard on the subject of Mac was that they want it, but chances are it won't happen by launch. So I think their plan is to maybe port over to Mac later.
