Rated M - Intense Violence, Blood and Gore, Suggestive Themes, Strong Language.

No one should have been realistically expecting sex scenes, at least not in multi-player, but this confirms no nudity at all. Not even partial nudity. So that right there throws out any chance of wearing underwear as clothing, swimsuits, or something similar. Pretty watered down and PG if you will.

This also confirms that single-player portions and any DLC will not include such content because it would require the game to be re-rated.

Unfortunately it seems like the vision was compromised along the way. Maybe this was the ESRB stone walling them, or maybe they just lost their backbone along the way. I guess these are sacrifices you have to make when you have a console release, and need to deal with ESRB. I'm sure the ESRB can be a pain in your ass because you don't have the money or they don't like you. You don't need to be ESRB rated to release on Steam incase anyone was wondering or didn't know.

Well, I'm still fairly excited for the game, but I'm most disappointed at the potential clothing options this news has effectively eliminated. I guess I can kiss goodbye my skinny dipping gone wrong scenario with a nude or partial nude Tiffany. Sounds like we won't even get swimwear either. God, I hope the mods will be sweet...

How does an Uncut DLC release sound for Steam? No ESRB rating required... be like the uneditted home release. Sounds good right? They shouldn't spend any real effort making stuff for one version, but some additional clothing options or lack of clothing, for PC would be nice.

Personally, I couldn't care less about having no nudity in the game. Like you mentioned, it was already a known thing that no nudity was going to be in the multiplayer part of the game since the game picks up after Jason has already arrived and there's no nudity in the films once everyone knows Jason is there. For that the game is true to the movies.

As for the single player portion, the devs said at pax east(and before that too iirc) a couple of weeks ago that the esrb doesn't like it very much when when you add nudity on top of gore and intense violence. It was to be expected and it's in no way a bad thing for me. I much prefer that they put the most gore they can in the game rather than for them having to compromise on the gory stuff just to had some nudity imo.

Question for you though... Are you not able to watch a movie with nudity, say a F13 or something, or play a game with nudity, without thinking or having to "beat off"?

I mentioned sex, not nudity. Those are two completely different things.

And yea, I'd rather they put the most gore possible instead of compromising just to include nudity.

But if you look at the links and quotes I posted you will see things like "Fans of the “Friday the 13th” film series know that when it comes to Jason Voorhees, violence, gore and nudity aren’t just concepts to consider – they’re necessities." Totally agree with the kills > nudity. That is the most important part.

It's a little disappointing that they had to compromise the original vision though. I'd love to see an "Uncut" DLC for PC that adds some more revealing clothing options or something. Stuff that would be cheap to do, and would be an option for PC since Steam doesn't require ESRB ratings like console does.

Well sex or nudity, my point still stand. There wasn't going to be any in the multiplayer part of the game once they established that a match starts when everyone knows Jason is there.

Maybe it was a change in the project direction during development or them wanting to play safe with the esrb, who knows. I can understand that some people may be disappointed but for me, whatever the reason is that they decided to go without or remove it, I'm perfectly fine with the decision. And this is coming from a fan of the franchise since 1985.

Wasn't calling you out Seagal, I was just throwing that out there because I'm seeing alot of debate over the ESRB and it goes for everyone. Like I said, lets just see what the game offers before people go judging. Whether or not there's a sex scene before the match starts isn't going to affect gameplay honestly.

For sure. Nude mods are about as close to a guarantee as you can get. I mean, the game already has nude models of the counselors in the files. But we'll see how far it goes beyond that. I guess a lot of it depends on how good people feel the game is, and if it's worth it or not.

Now to talk about your thread:

I wouldn't mind nudity, i wouldn't care if there's not either, but what i would really like, is for the singleplayer to have "Movie Situations", as in, e.g. a teenager (male or female), taking a shower, you approach the shower, and either stab them with something through the courtain, or press their heads against the wall until you crush it. Or having 2 counselors going at it on a bed and stab them both with something, or watching 2 counselors get in the river (naked or with swimsuits) and take them down by drowning them. Also i would love if you could stealth missions, by killing them without the rest noticing.

Anyways, what i was trying to explain is that the game can/IS still be/GONNA BE awesome without some titt¡es/dongers.
