What does jasons mask do
?

As in what is different about jason and what happens when you pick it up

u mean what it means when its off? u can knockdown him more easily, maybe stun him more easy aswell.

Jason's mask does absolutely nothing, as well as other movie Jasons; it doesn't change anything. Some people have been saying that you need the mask to defeat Jason well they are wrong.

If you have it when you walk into his cabin, his mother doesnt call for him and alert him that you are there.

You knock his mask off and do more damage to Jason if you have Tommy there and wear Jason's mom sweater you need to steal from his shack he can be drop to his knees and Tommy only can do this with a machete and Jason can get killed. There are youtube videos out there already about it.

You do need Jasons mask to defeat Jason. Tommy has to be the one holding it.

you have to knock the mask off to be able to kill jason ( u dont need the mask to kill jason , it has been tested , just like u can also kill him with a axe ) if you go to the cabin with the mask jason will not be alerted by his mother that you are there trying to get the sweater , SLASH/CAST has a utube video up of them doing this and showing how it is done

No you don't, my friends and I confirmed this in a private match.

I think if you have it at the end of the match and are still alive you get an achievement. However, it didn't register. It might be one of the steam secret ones.

Has the mask in moms cabin been tested? Did jason confirm he couldn't hear them?

Yes it is tested and confirmed. Once the mask is off, he gets no alert that someone is going for the sweater.
The mask itself does nothing else till now (nothing else found).
