That's the goal! I hope it was beneficial to you as a survivor/jason player!
It's based on a time :-) Rage triggers at 10 minutes remaining in the game, no matter what, nothing influences it to my knowledge, most of these Jasons are either just not pressing E instead of attacking the door, or aren't aware they can do it for the most part.
Being attacked makes it fill faster as Jason.
The hockey mask in the top corner is showing you your rage filling. Take a knife to the neck and tell me it doesn't jump up. XD
I've never really noticed this if I'm being quite honest. I know the Hockey mask in the corner shows rage building, but it seems tied to time more than anything.
You're wrong. Being stunned consistently builds rage quick.
I wouldn't know, I don't get stunned very often.
I believe both of them affect Rage. IE, it's designed to fill slowly over time, but if you've ever had a group start whacking you early game, you'll notice you get Rage MUCH faster than normal. Also, considering that each time they're hitting you, you're losing HP as Jason, meaning your mask is closer to falling off, making you 'killable', it makes sense that you'd become enraged to try and help you kill people faster to counteract the idea that you could die. If not, it would be group up and everyone wail on Jason till the mask falls off, and then we just need a sweater and everyone escapes or Jason dies.
This way, it means if they start wailing on you early game, if it's not just to kill you, they're going to be easier to hunt sooner rather than Jason needing to wait. Personally, it makes sense this way. Wail on Jason at your own risk, if you're not doing it for a specific purpose (to kill him, to save someone, to escape.)
I don't think a full match can go by without getting rage. 2 minutes left seems a bit.. silly to say the least.
I also found out you can block and still gain the rage at the same rate.
High level Jason guide... pfft
One way to see it :)
