If this is how it's going down I'll have to just reconsider pre-ordering the game and wait to read some of the reviews before making the purchase.

I mean sure but....because you are worried of players leaving? Those kind of players will just end up not playing at all. I didn't really have any leaver issues in the beta.

Not a bad idea but probably more ideal closer to release time.

True. I'm so pumped I can't wait. I didn't get the privilege of playing any alpha and/or beta, so I'm probably getting ahead of myself with suggestions lol.

Yes. The devs have confirmed that LAN will be an option.

Dev's have already confirmed the game will game a 'preferred' option. So if you prefer to be Jason you will be picked randonly among the others who want to play Jason. The game also takes into account if you haven't been Jason the last 2-3 games and raises your probability of being Jason the next match. The person who prefers to be Jason and has the highest % to play him, gets it.

This was the way it was explained by Wes in the Discord chat.

Obviously if 7 people join a game and all 7 want to be Jason, that isn't going to happen lol

Correct. AI is not an easy thing for devs to do at all. It would take a lot of time. Also an AI Jason would be very difficult on it's own.

I think you'll come to find that having one friend as Jason is actually really fun.

atleast until single player releases and you are either A. playing as jason witha bunch of AI counselors or as a counselor playing against an AI Jason. its possible just probably not at launch

In single player you play as Jason, not as a counselor. Just making sure you know ;)
