Do you consider Jason to be evil?

Personally I consider him more neutral than evil. Like a wild animal protecting his territory or a force of nature. He's never really left the Crystal Lake area by choice. His only real goal seems to be following his mothers wish of keeping the camp permanently closed. And IIRC he's only ever specifically targetted two people. Alice Hardy, who decapitated his mother while he watched. And Freddy Krueger, who manipulated him into leaving Crystal Lake by impersonating his mother.

What are your thoughts?

Well I certainly don't consider him to be a man.

I believe Jason is a force of nature that purges evil. If you pay attention, the movies always pass that message that the whorhes, drug users and other evil behavior characters will be punished. And the good characters are saved.

Of course theres some collateral damage and some innocent people are killed too, but like i said, Jason is a force of nature. He can't be controlled so the best thing to do avoid him is to avoid the people he seeks.
