2009 Jason Skin + Abilities
Ok, I've been giving DLC some thought. I'm over the whole Savani Jason issue. I've got a new idea.

2009 Jason. Right? Right?

2009 Jason is far more athletic than what we've seen before. Some people (not I) are frustrated with the shift ability for a variety of reasons. I think the below may be something that would work.

-The 2009 Jason would have a marginally smaller hitbox and grab length (relative to his size). Considerably smaller.

-2009 Jason wouldn't have a Shift ability, instead he would have stamina double that of the fastest counselor, and a stamina regeneration rate 1.5x the rate of the highest current perk as well as a speed of 1.15x that of sprint speed.

-To offset the shift, Jason's morph ability would replenish 40% faster than the current fastest Jason.

The backers keep their savini skin.
The rest gets the 2009 jason with savini perks.

And no one loses anything.

Not realistic compared to what 2009 Jason is. I'm purposely avoiding discussion of the DLC.

Would that also require him to have all 3 of the defense penalties?

(hitpoints, stun, defense)

Elaborate. It's just an idea. Feel free to go into detail.

Nevermind, I realize now that you've already given him 3 penalties....I have no idea why I even suggested the others x.x

But I like this idea, I already made the suggestion that slow-walking Jasons should have the ability to throw a more lethal weapon than throwing knives to offset their speed, in exchange for an overall nerf to shifting and grabbing. Would make it even cooler if the throwing weapon(axe in this case) would cause the survivor to get jumpscared similar to seeing a dead body if the axe just barely misses them and gets stuck in something(the floor near them, a wall, a tree, etc) and cause a massive fear increase.

The question is if they'd be able to actually implement these sorts of buffs. The way it is now is pretty narrow.

I could be wrong but i think they already got asked about 2009 Jason and said they couldn't have him in the game due to other lisencing issues... Would be nice though, he is a good Jason. I wouldn't mind them going off track just a little and trying to get the lisence to use Victor Crowley from the Hatchet movies also played by Kane Hodder.

Just curious if you have a source.

Exactly :\ both the remake and freddy vs jason are a no go cause of licensing.

Ok. Make it NES Jason. Same stuff applies.

Yay you made a thread for it DUDE!

I think the no shift Jason would be better suited for if they did a Part 5.

Seriously, not a bad idea all in all but the bad grip range is a no and I'm not crazy about the throwing axe idea. I like the idea of a no shift but faster Jason though, I think that much could be interesting but I don't see why it shouldn't be part 5.

Did Jason not randomly appear in the "reboot"? I watched it twice but I tried to block it out. That movie sucked. So perhaps the no shift Jason is better suited for reboot Jason than I'm recalling.
