Do you miss mute lego characters ?
I really do .I remember when I played the first lego star wars games and I loved them . They were so charming , but after the decided to fully voice the lego blocks the magic kinda of died for me . What do you think ?

it's not deal breaking, but gone are the days of Lego games without DLC and with funny mumbling instead of voices, some magic is lost, but it's not entirely gone for me, YET

yes the expressions they had to make, the gunts, shrugs and such were definately some of the charm

No.

I really like what they had done with the mumbling, as Lego Star Wars 1 was my first lego game back in the day and after seeing how Lego Jurrassic World's voice acting was just ripped from the movie and wasn't the best quality i was a bit skeptical, but when I played through this game it's really been a huge improvement and I wouldn't mind seeing Lego Star Wars 1 and 2 (or the complete saga) have a remaster with voice acting in place.

I'm with TonTanMan. The caveman grunting was a lot of fun back in the day, but I was overwhelmed when I played Lego Lord of the Rings, and everything was so perfect. The levels were the coolest I had ever played, and it wouldn't have had half the charm with just grunting. It's the same here. If they had made it a simpler game, no voice work would have been fine. But the attention to detail TT did on Force Awakens deserves that high quality experience, especially because in this one, most of the dialogue is straight from the movie, but they had all of the main cast come back and record more lines for this game specifically. Even Harrison Ford and Daisy Ridley did new voice work. I think it's worth it.

the old games can be a bit boring now and sometimes confusing (batman 1) without voices

also their budget is bigger now to get original actors do new voice lines (jw, lego movie and tfa)

i agree the lack of voices added to the charm
