Problem with Race on D'qar

I'm on 99.1% completion of the game, and I only have one more gold brick to go. But, the gold brick is from a race, which I can't access. The race is located on D'qar, just off the side of the runway by the Millenium Falcon, it requires an X-Wing, for it to start, but I've tried walking over it, going over it in an X-Wing, but nothing makes it want to start at all? Anyone know whats wrong?

If this is the one race I think of, you specifically need Poe's blue X-Wing Microfighter for this race, the other won't work.
