They should go back to it and add it to this game. Or maybe not idk, something about online multiplayer in Lego games makes it seem like it wouldn't feel like a lego game.

The lack of online coop is the reason I no longer buy these LEGO games even though I love them. My friends who play these games live in other states so online coop would be awesome.

Look up SharePlay and Moonlight. There are a few other services that make it possible too. None of them incorporate lag compensating measures though, so if you have anything other than a perfect connection it'll be laggy. For this game in particular it shouldn't be much of an issue though
