Stuck in Jakku because can't turning a tap....

well I don't really know if its a bug or some controller problem, but yeah i am stuck in jakku story mission. in the mission there was fin, rey and bb-8. i was supposed to hit this pipe thing and then a tap ( or what ever this round thing called ) will falls from the pipe. then i need to grab it and put it on the other side of the pipe. when I attached it to the pipe i need to turning it so i could open this huge red metal door. i was using xbox 360 controller at the time, and here's the problem. the system force me to use the right analog and make a round turning kinda thing, and i just can't complete it. there is some kind of objectives meters, it won't filled. the farthest i got was half of the objectives meters. is there anyone suffering the same thing as i am?? is there anyone out there can give me a solution to this problem???
for now I'll vacuum from this game until i found the solution...

I experienced the same issue in the same place. I was doing just fine with my 360 controller until that door. I went to unplug the controller and the whole game crashed - duh. But the oly way I was able to get aroundit was relaunch the game and run through the level with my keyboard. Not ideal, but got me past it.

there are few places that requires you to turn that valve.. my suggestion is assign keyboard as 2nd player controller, use 2nd player to do the valve-turning, then enter the menu using keyboard - select drop out to drop out the 2nd player.

I couldn't use my keyboard as P2. For some reason I couldn't even do Keyboard P1 and Controller P2. But... I was still able to proceed by switching P1 from Controller to Keyboard, do the valve, then switch back.

u need to configure it first in the controler setup.

I have the same issue. Switching to keyboard works.
But devs really need to fix this. It's super annoying.

no! no!, it wasn't the thumb stick. well if your thumb stick feels kinda lose, maybe it is. anyway the same problem comes to many people too. read the discussion up above to know some alternate solution to this problem. it may not be a permanent solution, but atleast you can still enjoyed the game...
