Starkiller Base Bug

I took the mission where you collect stormtrooper helmets and left the area. Now I can't interact with any of the quest givers. The glowing cylinder quickly blinks off when I approach and doesn't come back until I leave the area. Anybody else run into this or know of a fix?

Way late, but I just experienced this, and turns out, you need to kill all 12 of the creatures at the end, even if you have enough helmets already. If you do it last, it'll instantly transport you back to the mission giver upon killing the 12th and or picking up the last helmet
