bb8 stuck in ceiling

Chapter 4 after first shotout when chewie grenades the ratar free bb8 is stuck in the ceiling and there is no way to get him down. this stays each time i start the mission

Before you go into the shootouts, switch yourself to bb8 so he's one of the characters in the shootouts. In the last shootout, you can swap bb8 out for chewie to get the grenade by holding the change character button and pulling up the character wheel

As a new purchaser of this game, I would like to very calmly and non-judgmentally confirm that this game-breaking bug is still in, 5 years after it was reported.

After Chewie uses grenades to set the rathtar loose against the gangs, Han says a fuse is out, and BB-8 is required to go through a small door. Unfortunately, BB-8 cannot do this, because he is in the hallway ceiling, trapped above a collision plane that prevents him from being able to get down. Thus the level cannot be completed. I exited the level and tried again, and met the same result.
